Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

My name is Camila and I'm a 27-year-old recent (ish) Canadian immigrant to Scotland. I always wanted to raise money for charity and do a challenge to face one of my fears in the process. This is the perfect occasion! On May 28th, I will be doing a free-fall abseil down the iconic Forth Rail Bridge that connects Edinburgh and Fife in Scotland for charity.

Close members of my family were heavily affected by cancer in 2016 and I saw just how important support is for both the patient and their family. That is why I will be fundraising for Macmillan, a UK charity that aims to give support to those affected by cancer.

The minimum fundraising amount is set at £145 but I aim to raise closer to £500 if possible. Any contribution you may have is very welcome! It will go directly to Macmillan, with the Rotary Club of South Queensferry (who is organising) receiving £25, which they will also put toward their own charity work.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send 100% of your money directly to the charity.

If you leave your email address I will contact you with photos of my scared face abseiling down the most iconic bridge in Scotland.

I thank you kindly in advance!
