Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This is a cause that is very personal to me and close to my heart. Living with OCD brings a whole load of challenges; it is much more than a 'quirky' condition. OCD is not making sure the Cd's are in alphabetical order, or that ornaments are arranged in a straight line. It is a debilitating condition that consumes you in every aspect of your life, it makes leading a happy life very difficult. I am doing this challenge to raise awareness and to raise much needed funds to research the condition and to ensure treatment is available when it is needed. The members of the medical profession who work in Mental Health do a fantastic job helping sufferers, but they are woefully underfunded, hence why it can take 12 months to get referred and then the waiting lists are more than 12 months to get the much needed help.
