We, Team Mud Sluts, are going against all human instinct and willingly inflicting hours of pain and muddy, muddy suffering on ourselves - all in the name of a great cause! Tough Mudder is a 12 mile military-style mud obstacle course. Our bodies and minds will be pushed to the limit as we not only run 12 miles through thick mud, but tackle 15' quarter pipes, 20' walls, ice-water pools, barbed-wire crawls, electric-shock fields, claustrophobic tunnels and terrifying high drops - to name but a few! Not gonna lie, it looks bloody horrendous so please help us make this HORRIFYING experience worth it by helping us reach our fundraising goals for charity!

I am raising money for ActionAid, a leading international charity working in over 45 countries with some of the poorest women and children in the world. ActionAid work relentlessly to provide immediate, hands-on support to women and children living on the margins of survival, striving to create lasting and effective change. ActionAid are currently involved in responding  to the humanitarian crisis in East Africa, where over 16 million people are suffering from starvation due to sustained drought and conflict, so now, more than ever, they need our help to reach each community in need. All money that I raise for Tough Mudder will go directly to ActionAid and help them in their crucial work.

I want to raise money for ActionAid because I believe they are a genuine charity with a genuine strategy for combating poverty and injustice across the globe. Their hands-on approach to empowering and aiding communities to lift themselves out of poverty is inspiring, and their many success stories are just wonderful.
