We provide vital treatment, care & support to cancer patients and families in Wales

On Monday morning 13 th September 2010 at around 6.30am, the  Captains Climb team reached the top of Mount Kilimanjaro.  Extremely tired, cold but triumphant!

Unfortunately, due to my battered knees, I wasn't one of them, but I did my bit by getting as far as I did, which was tough!  Plus I raised a great amount for the Stepping Stones Appeal which was the main thing.  So on that note I would like to say a huge thank you to everybody who supported me and the Stepping Stones appeal by donating. I would like to say an extra special 'thank you' to the staff and customers of the Thomas Arms in Llanelli for raising such a staggering amount of money and for their fantastic support!

The climb has so far raised a staggering £300,000, which is amazing.

You can still help by purchasing the Official Captains Climb DVD which is out now priced at just £10.  To order your DVD please visit or call 029 2031 6211.  Alternatively, some of the Captains will be signing copies of the DVD's, so come along and pick up a copy...the perfect Chrismtas present or stocking filler!
