Little Hearts Matter is a national charity offering support and information to anyone affected by the devastating diagnosis of a single ventricle heart condition, children born with half a working heart. We work to support and raise awareness of the needs of these children and their families.

In June of this year, our friend Jamie Barnett died following an accident. He has left a massive hole in his family & his friends lives. 

Jamie was incredibly passionate about Little Hearts Matter, quietly going about fund raising & various activities to support the crucial work LHM does. 

He would have been at the Great North Run this September supporting his team who are running it for LHM, sadly he will only be able to be there in spirit now, but I want to do something to honour Jamie & I can think of no better way than raising money for the Charity that means so much to him. 

I have been doing a lot of running over the last 12-18mths, purely for fun & enjoyment, however this one now takes on much more importance, this is to honour someone I looked up to, someone I was lucky enough to call a friend & someone who always gave & found the good in everything

I know times are hard, so I am not asking for specific amounts, Jamie always used to say, “it doesnt matter how much or how little, every penny counts” 

We miss you mate & this one is for you.
