I'm was so honoured to be asked to be a charity patron for Tenovus Cancer Care, Wales' leading cancer charity, in January of this year. Having worked with them for many years I have seen first hand the difference they make to people living with cancer, as well as their families and am so, so proud to join and support them in their vital work.

When I was diagnosed with testicular cancer, my whole world felt like it was turned upside down in an instant. But I was one of the lucky ones. Now I'm thankful everyday to be cancer free, and for every new opportunity that life brings me.

That's why, when Tenovus Cancer Care launched their first ever trip to Mount Kilimanjaro, I jumped at the chance to join them in what will no doubt be the biggest adventure of my life.

My climb will mark ten years since my cancer diagnosis and is something that's always been on my bucket list. It feels like the right time to do something epic to support a charity that I have an enormous respect for. Not only does Tenovus Cancer Care help prevent, treat and find a cure for cancer, they also provide much needed support for anyone dealing with cancer, as well as their loved ones.
