My cousin Leanne and I will be taking part in a sponsored skydive for Muscular Dystrophy in September this year (2020). 

The muscular dystrophies (MD) are a group of inherited genetic conditions that gradually cause the muscles to weaken, leading to an increasing level of disability. MD is a progressive condition, which means it gets worse over time.  Some types of MD eventually affect the heart or the muscles used for breathing, at which point the condition becomes life-threatening.

This disease runs in our family and has effected our uncles, Arthur and Joe, and our cousin, Owen. This is why Carla and I are raising money for this charity, to raise awareness and support the charity to support those effected by this horrible disease.
