Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Having said to myself a few years back, I’m never running a half marathon again, here I am taking on Bath Half but I’m doing it in memory of our wonderful Ellie and any money raised will help to run the hospice that Ellie became so fond of during her time there.
It’s not often that you meet someone like Ellie. Ellie was a true inspiration. I knew Ellie for a relatively short amount of time, we started off as neighbours and quickly became great friends cruising around Amsterdam, finding a mutual love for fleabag, many maternity leave days spent drinking coffee on the pier and lots of nights spent partying. In that time she became one of my favourite people in this world.
Ellie was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and 7 weeks after her diagnosis we said our goodbyes. During this 7 weeks Ellie spent time in Marie Curie hospice in Penarth (Holme Towers) she felt safe there and they did everything they could to ensure that. I’m raising money for Marie curie to help others feel safe too. The staff there are truly wonderful.
It costs over £8000 per day to run the hospice in Penarth so anything I can raise will massively help.
Please donate anything you can, my employer will match £ for £.

Thank you xx
