Mad fool that I am, I have agreed to take part in a fundraising event on Friday 13th November 2009. There will be around 120 of us, tackling 12 different peaks in the Lake District.   The weather is usually pretty grim at this time of year, so a little encouragement from our friends by way of sponsorship is always very much appreciated!

The charity we are supporting is the Institute of Cancer Research. One third of us will be touched by Cancer in our lifetime and every hour in the UK a man dies of Prostate Cancer.  I personally lost a very dear friend of mine to the disease and family members also.
