Story

Carol was a remarkable special needs teacher who devoted her adult life to helping children, regardless of their ability, to achieve their potential. From teaching them at Curnow Special School, and getting them through their Duke of Edinburgh Awards, to supporting causes such as BF Adventure.

To continue Carol’s legacy a special Sibling’s Support Fund has been set up at Children’s Hospice South West in her memory. To watch Carol’s compelling video on why she supported Children’s Hospice South West click on:

Children's Hospice South West was a charity close to Carol's heart. They provide care and support for children suffering from life threatening and limiting illnesses and their families. During her time as a teacher, Carol saw the fantastic work they provided as some of her former pupils and families benefited from their work.

As Carol's friends and family, it is now down to us to ensure that her fantastic work continues, so please do give as generously as you can. (Please remember that if you are a UK taxpayer you can make your donation go further by ticking the Gift Aid box!)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
