Story

THANK YOU FOR FOLLOWING THE LINK!!

We are getting off our butts in gear this year and putting down the chocolate (well Yvonne is) to get fit and do our bit for charity so we are gonna give a couple of 5K's a go this year.

The first of which is down in Mayboyle THIS SUNDAY!!!!!! ....so not long now. We will be on the bus on Sunday morning at 8.30am, without hangovers and ASBO tagged with our timers strapped to our ankles.

Yvonne's as always is living up to her part as my best friend and jogging / hobbling (since I've done something dodgy to my ankle) through these with me because they are charity runs that mean a lot to me.

My dad had a heart attack about 5 years ago, a big scare to us all, which thankfully has bounced back from, so I'd like to do this as a wee thank you to the lovely people that helped him.

Then in Nov 2008 he found out he had prostate cancer,  that he has recently had treatment for. (hence the 2nd 5K this June...we'll be back round with a begging bowl for that as well)  My dad as it seems is indestructable, which was partly due to the lovely the staff of the heart and cancer wards who took fantastic care of him.

So I just want to do my bit to make sure they are able to keep on doing, what they do so well. So this one is a cause that are close to my heart. (SORRY! no pun intended, honest!)

PLEASE. PLEASE help us raise a wee bit of cash as we pound the pavements, paths and grounds of  Blairquhan castle, the location used for the film The Queen.

Anything you can spare would be amazing. Sorry to come with the begging bowl in the credit crunch peeps, but we'll love you all forever if you can help us along.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please throw us a couple of coppers or anything you can spare...but as they'd say in 'Coming to America' we don't mind the kind that jingles, but I know they'd prefer the kind that folds.

Huge thanks

Caz & Yvonne xx
