Since my Auntie Peggy died nearly 8 years ago from cancer I have been really keen to do something big fundraising wise to thank Macmillan for all the support they gave my family at that time. My mum has been fundraising ever since which I am really proud of her for  so I decided it's my turn to help out. As I am me and can't do anything easily I decided that I would set myself a big challenge in terms of the Inca trail but also the target I want to reach - so please help out and dig deep!

 

I am fundraising through this page but also as many of you know by organising lots of events which I will be inviting you all to! The money I raise all goes to Macmillan - I am paying the trip costs myself so everything is for charity.

 

If you know me well enough then you'll know this is a big challenge for me as a self-confessed girly-girl (I have to do rough camping which makes me shudder at the thought!) - but I thought i'd have more chance of sponsorship if I did something far out of my comfort zone! 

 

Plus I have managed to drag Anne into this challenge too - for company of course but also as I know this is a cause close to her heart as well. Those of you that know both of us Anne has a separate donation page (search for Anne Upstone on here if you'd rather give to her!)

 

So please give as much as you can afford - as my Nanna says "every little helps said the old woman as she piddled in the sea!"
