We fund specialist equipment to improve the lives of disabled children

Story

I work at Newlife Foundation to urgently deliver essential equipment and support to terminally ill children and their families. As a parent, I find the experiences shared with me devastating. Families often have to fight to get the help their dying child desperately needs! The work done by Newlife is dependent upon public donations, which is why I'm personally inspired to fundraise to help children and their families.

I am not a natural runner - I hated sports at school and subsequently I'm generally unfit and overweight. My biggest issue to date has been surviving a Half Marathon in aid of Newlife. However, mums and dads across the UK face enormous physical and emotional difficulties daily to meet their child's needs. I am determined to complete the 26 mile London Marathon course in April 2015. It will be a struggle - but I will be inspired by your kind donation and the incredible difference which we can make to terminally ill children together.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
