In memory of Carrole Cooley
This campaign will lay the foundations for human trials of a pioneering therapy for Motor Neurone Disease (MND). The fatal disease affects the brain and nerves and causes weakness over time. There is currently no cure for the condition.

Story

Hi, I am Vicky.  My loving Mum, Carrole, sadly passed away on 11 March, 2020 at Pathfinders Care, Ollerton, Notts., following living with MND for a period of 9 years. I want to share with you my Mum's story and also hopefully raise as much money as possible in her name and for MND research to help others who will be living with this disease and their famililes, many of which now include young children.

We know that no one survives this disease and we all have to focus on changing this situation and the only way forward is funding the research. Please help remember my Mum and donate anything you are able to as every £1 counts to contribute to the day when we will have a cure for this cruel disease.

I know for those who knew my Mum, Carrole, you will have such happy memories of a larger than life laughing woman with a big heart who embraced everyone she met with pure kindness.  She had a big heart and a big laugh which will be sadly missed but we will strive to keep my Mum's memory alive and this page will help us do exactly that.

Let's try and spread kindness faster than any disease by remembering those we love.

You can contact me about my Mum via this page.

Thank you.
