So the story goes.... one day as dad and I were up at the reservoir doing
what he loves 'exercising the flies' (better known as fishing to
most) he happened to mention that he wanted to have his ashes
scattered on Ben Nevis. Now I am not sure if he ever expected that wish to come
true but it planted a seed in my head and this year I will have the privilege
and opportunity to take him there. However I thought I would take it a little
further and do the 3 Peaks Challenge knowing that Dad was always up for a challenge
I am sure he would have been encouraging me if not joining me. For those
that are not sure the 3 Peaks challenge requires me to climb Ben
Nevis, Scarfell and Snowdon in just 24 hours! 

I would like to raise money for Cancer UK in the hope that one day they
will find a cure for Cancer so that someone else's dad or grandpa
will not be so sorely missed.

I would also like to raise money for Bulstrode House (Guernsey) a place
where Dad (and other close friends) were so well looked after during what must
have been very traumatic times.
