We have decided  to get involved with the DSA’s 50th birthday event of 50 people skydiving to celebrate 50 years of the DSA. We have opted to do the higher jump as in for a penny and all that!  ✈️ 

Unfortunately Victoria has has to pull out of the jump due to medical advice so good old Laura has stepped in and taken one for the team! The date has been postponed a few times due to covid but is now scheduled to go ahead on Saturday 24th July 2021  

When the chips are down you know who your friends are- and time and time again my wonderful circle continue to support Betsy and our family through all the ups and downs that living with Down syndrome involves. 

In Betsys first few weeks in the world when she was being so well looked after in NICU i would sometimes arrive to stay with Betsy for the day and find evidence that laura had managed to sneak into betsys ward and visit her unannounced! Little acts like these along with being a consistent rock to us all ever since and one of the few people who helps us out with childcare who the kids absolutely adore and genuinely think her full name is  ‘crazy laura’ as she is completely and utterly bonkers I’m so proud she’s doing the jump along side me and know we will be belly laughing the whole way through!
