In January 2006 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and, throughout that year, I underwent treatment of one kind or another. 10 years on I am still here and I am healthy and cancer free. I want to celebrate that fact by giving back to one of the charities which works so hard to make sure treatments are effective and makes sure that the number of people who reach the 10 year mark is greater every year.

And why £8808? Because that is the number of hours in the ten years since my diagnosis. When every hour is a gift, it is worth marking them. On, and because an 8 on its side looks a little bit like a pair of breasts!!!!!
