Claire Underwood and Leigh Hodgkinson have asked me to join Jen's Water Bilbies, to do a 5k relay swim, open air. This is to support Jenny , a courageous young mum who is dealing with cancer at the moment. Swimming in a freezing lido in late September is a bit scary, but not as scary as what some  people  have faced recently. There have been a lot of survivors, and charities like Macmillan make things easier with their tireless support, advice, practical and medical help. If you can donate a little bit, it would be great, otherwise, just laugh at me sploshing about in the cold somewhere in deepest Sussex. I'm off to Asda to get my deluxe wetsuit....... Thank you!
