In 2014 I required the services of Magpas Air Ambulance having had a fall from a racehorse resulting in an unstable bimalleolar right ankle fracture. This means both my tibia and fibula where shattered, plus my foot was dislocated and bent causing a loss in circulation in my leg. Without the critical care provided by Magpas, my injury could have been life changing.

I now have two plates and eleven screws in my ankle and have since run two London Marathons in order to raise funds for the charity who do not receive government funding and rely on generous donations to keep operating.

I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April to help raise more funds for this lifesaving charity who operate 24/7, 365 days a year.
