Tragically at the end of last year my mum died of a brain haemorrhage at the far too young age of 48. She was such a passionate, loving and caring person and always put everybody else before herself. I miss her enormously and have decided in her memory to raise money for RUSH (Research to Understand Stroke due to brain Haemorrhage). They are dedicated to gaining a better understanding into the causes of spontaneous intracerebral haemorrhage. Gaining a greater understanding is essential to preventing other young people from losing a parent far too early on in their lives.
The challenges I have completed so include:
5k Dunedin run
15000ft skydive
10k winter mule
Challenges coming up in January:
Ben Lomond sunrise walk (6 hour walk, setting off at 3am)
30 day burpee challenge done in 15 days (1000 burpees in 15 days)
a very unique triathalon
