Having family and friends who have been diagnosed, are currently being, or who have been treated for bowel cancer and other bowel disorders ( and having a colorectal nurse specialist for a wife!)I appreciate the importance of research in the quest to  learn more and develop better treatments for these problems. Whilst others shave their heads for charity , I have decided to grow my hair for a year. I normally cut my hair every 6 weeks and Will the donate cost of these haircuts to the charity... I will post regular photos so you can see how I am progressing - as I am known for running, I suspect I will look like Forrest Gump by this time next year!
