Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This could be the first year I don’t watch the London Marathon on TV.  Don’t get me wrong, I love watching it but this time, for one year only, I’ll be there. And not just watching, actually running!

I’m running to scratch an itch, achieve a life long goal, fulfil a promise to my dad and most of all to raise money for the charity working to rid the world of Prostate Cancer.  All other things being equal he’d be there on Sunday 22nd April cheering me on, probably by The Cutty Sark, but sadly not. I can hear him now...”you should run that one day...”

Anyhow, we miss him all day, every day and it’s tough not to share the big stuff with him.  If we can raise a few quid to prevent other daddy’s girls from doing the big stuff without their dads, then that’s a good thing. So please, dig deep, I know I’ll have to, it turns out 26.2 miles is quite a long way on foot, and I fear it may hurt a little.  Whatever you can afford Prostate Cancer UK and I are very, very grateful.
