Story
Less than one in ten people will survive an out of hospital cardiac arrest. But survival rates can be increased significantly if a Defibrillator is used and CPR is performed. Welsh hearts have made it their mission to ensure communities all over Wales have access to Defibrillators and are trained in how to use them. They also provide heart screenings to 16-40 year olds, to detect life threatening heart conditions that often go undetected. Theirs and our fundamental goal is to save lives in Wales.
We are fundraising to ensure easy access to a defibrillator in the area of Penarth Station Approach. We will also work with Welsh Hearts to ensure as many local people as possible receive CPR training.
