I'm a pediatric oncology nurse, so I see kids fighting cancer every day. These warriors face more as children than most of us do in a lifetime, and they always amaze me with their courage, resilience, humor, and determination. I am continuously humbled and inspired by them; in fact, thinking of them has gotten me through my last three marathons. ("If so-and-so can handle what she's dealing with, I can finish this mile.")

These kids are stronger than they should ever have to be, so I'm raising money for CLIC Sargent to give them all the support they deserve. CLIC Sargent is a fantastic organization that provides a whole host of services to help children and their families battle cancer.
