This will only be my second marathon and I enjoy the challenge and discipline it demands. Our dad was a keen runner and now myself, both sisters and brother run as a way of connecting with each other and the memory of our brilliant dad.

Today, July 20th, should have been his 71st birthday, to enjoy with his ever growing family but instead he was taken far too soon.

Cancer is a disgusting disease that far too many of us have to encounter. As well as raising funds I wanted to make more men aware of this disease, which kills 10,000 men every year in the UK.
