Taking to the skies to help support young people with cancer · 1 June 2019

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The urge to jump out of a plane has never really struck me before, but this year I wanted to complete a personal challenge to mark an upcoming birthday (21, again!).

As a Teenage Cancer Trust Youth Support Coordinator, I work with young people and their families who may well feel like they have been chucked out of a plane following a cancer diagnosis.  My jump will be over in a matter of moments, then I will have my feet back on solid ground, but the money raised will go towards making sure that these individuals are supported through their treatment and beyond and help make their experience of reaching solid ground as positive as can be.

Thank you for your time and support
