Story
Way back in 2010 I was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer, receiving 'gold standard' chemo, surgery and radiotherapy. Nearly sixteen years later, those 'gold standard' treatments have moved on considerably thanks to research, meaning more people live, and live well, after a breast cancer diagnosis.
This May, I’ll be walking 100 Miles to raise money for Breast Cancer Now – the UK’s leading breast cancer charity. 💗 In those 31 days, breast cancer will take almost 1000 lives in the UK. They are mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, colleagues and friends. Loved ones.
Every pound raised will help support Breast Cancer Now’s life-saving science and life-changing support. So they can continue to tackle the disease, whilst seeing and supporting the people it affects. Every mile matters. Every pound counts. Will you support me in going the distance for Breast Cancer Now? 🎀
