We provide vital treatment, care & support to cancer patients and families in Wales

Story

Since its inception in 2013, the Celebrity Cup has become one of the most keenly anticipated events in the celebrity golfing calendar.

With national pride stirred by the four nations match play format and thanks to the generous hospitality of the Celtic Manor Resort, we have created many memorable moments during the tournament’s first five years, as well as raising much needed funds for charities including the Caron Keating Foundation, Elizabeth Montgomerie Foundation, Marie Keating Foundation, Keith Duffy Foundation and Play Golf-Save Lives Campaign.

This year Wales's premier cancer centre, Velindre, will be the event’s official charity with Celebrity Cup player and dual code rugby star turned BBC pundit, Jonathan Davies, being the Velindre President.

Jonathan has helped raise millions of pounds for Velindre since losing his father, Len, and first wife, Karen, to cancer and witnessing first-hand the vital work of the Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff.

With a proud history for supporting cancer charities, the Celebrity Cup is
delighted to be raising funds for Velindre at this year’s event from 30th June - 1st July. This Just Giving page will be the focus for all fund-raising at the event so please give generously to this fantastic cause.

Tickets for the weekend are available on the Celtic Manor website:
