Who is Celia Hammond Animal Trust?
Celia Hammond Animal Trust operates throughout the South East helping stray, abandoned and unwanted animals. They provide care and refuge for feral and domestic cats and kittens without discrimination on the animal's age, temperament or appearance.
There's an ever-increasing need since lockdown to rescue unwanted pets and humanely reduce the population of pets in the UK by neutering. Their services offer a lifeline to hundreds of thousands of healthy but unwanted or stray animals which are being destroyed simply because there are not enough homes to go around.
Their emergency rescue service for animals, both domestic and feral, responds to calls from the public, local authorities and the police. They also investigate complaints of cruelty and neglect and take appropriate action.
They also provide low-cost neuter, vaccination and treatment clinics for animals belonging to people on benefit or those unable to afford private veterinary fees.
Why should you support them?
In order for them to continue offering all the valuable services mentioned above. These things require money and that's why I want to support the centre from which I recently adopted some cats.
I hope you feel they're a cause worthy of your support and if so, please make a donation via my JustGiving page.
