The Rocky Mountain Bloodwise Team was formed in 2015 to organize activities and events to raise awareness and funding for the Bloodwise charity.   This will be our second year organizing a running team in the 5K and Urban 10 Miler on Saturday and the Marathon, Half Marathon, and Marathon Relay.  Daya Tazz is one of the founding members of Rocky Mountain Bloodwise Team.  This will be her fourth year participating in the 5K and Marathon Relay.  In 2012, Daya and her sister; Shannon, witnessed first hand the tragedy of childhood leukemia with the loss of a friend's 3 year old daughter just weeks after being diagnosed.  Shannon had been her nanny for the last year of her life.  

Why did we form two Marathon Relay Teams at Centennial Resource Production?

Besides getting together for a fun day of running in the Marathon Relay, and having some fun competition with our co-workers, we are raising funds for the My Peak Challenge Bloodwise fundraiser to identify genetic drivers of childhood leukemia.  Over $500,000 was raised in 2017 through My Peak Challenge for a drug trial for Camellia to treat ALS.  Our fundraising will add to this fund to make a difference in the fight against blood cancers.
