Story

Hello my name is Aimee and I am 12 years old. I have decided that I want to walk 108 miles along the pennine way in 4 days walking over a marathon a day. I will be attempting this in July 2017.

I want to do this because last year my mum ran the spine challenger race which is 108 miles along the pennine way from Edale to Hawes. I am too young to compete in the actual spine challenger and I don't enjoy running as much as walking. We will be wild camping along the way.

I am going to be doing this to raise money for Francis House children's hospice as I realise how fortunate I am that I am fit and healthy enough to attempt this challenge. Francis House does amazing work caring for young people with life limiting conditions. This is why I believe they are a worthy cause as they support families through the most difficult of times.
