Three Peaks Challenge · 13 July 2019

The Great North Air Ambulance Service keeps families together by saving lives. We provide critical care to the people of the North East, North Yorkshire, Cumbria and the Isle of Man.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 13th July 2019 Tony, Chris, Liam, Craig, Micky, Keeks & Max will be swapping the watering hole for walking boots in our mission to conquer Scotland, England & Wales' three highest mountains within 24 hours.

We will begin the journey with the ascent of Ben Nevis at 7am before heading to the Lake District to conquer Scafell Pike beginning at approx 5pm. Finally we'll head further south and into Wales to climb Snowdon starting at approx 2am, with the aim to reach the bottom of Mt Snowdon at 6:59am on 14th July 2019.

As a group of lads with limited walking experience and fitness credentials we hope you will support us by donating as we attempt to conquer these 3 mountains in 24 hours for a worthy cause.

We are raising money for the Great North Air Ambulance Service. This is a charity that is close to our hearts as a number of friends have been saved by it. The Great North Air Ambulance Service runs solely on donations, which is why we feel this is a worthy cause.
In 2018 the Air Ambulance had 1,173 call outs in the North of England, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. The total running costs for this service in 2018 was £5.1m.
Please help us reach our original donations goal of £1,000.

Many thanks,

The Chaps
