We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

This is created to raise money for the amazing job Great Ormond Street do everyday. However the reason for holding this event is quite extraordinary, Kelly Tyler was diagnosed with cancer last June when going to have her tonsils removed at a local hospital. However not even a year has passed and Kelly has successfully completed her treatment and is on the road to a full recovery and also to celebrating her 7th birthday in February.

Great Ormond Street also had an unexpected patient last September in the form on Kellys brother, her mother Nicola Tyler went into labour whilst on a stay with Kelly in GOSH and was the first baby to be born at the hospital in 157 years. The full story can be read on :http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-23746906-joy-over-first-baby-born-at-great-ormond-street-in-157-years.do

A difference can be made from as little as £5.00 to buy a vital neonatal mask which aids a newborn baby to breathe.

We are running a charity dinner dance on the 4th of March for those who can make it however for those that can't and still want to donate or just want to help out we have created this page to make the donation process much simpler, every little helps a child!

I personally would like to say a thank you to everyone helping with the event, to those who donate and also GOSH,

Courtney
