Iv seen so many families loved ones battle through cancer. But one thing I do offer see is a Macmillan Nurse providing the specialist support the patient and the and the family needs. Sadly on the 25th December 2013 we lost my dad to Lung Cancer and never got the chance to die at home as he was in intensive care. The reason I have chosen to fundraiser for Macmillan cancer support is because I know they deserve it. Iv worked closely with Macmillan in another situation and for my self it's heart breaking, but for the Macmillan nurses and specialist it's a job to which they care beyond great relief, provide emotional support to both the patient and the family, they ensure at all times that the dignity of the patient is paramount.
These guys do really do a great job and each and every single one of them deserve a medal. Thank you for you consistent caring hard work. X
