Story
18 April 2011
Did it !!! Really pleased with getting a time under 4 hours. It was very hot and my knees had a bad patch but I came through well enough to put in a fast mile or so at the end. What a day, great support from the crowds, from the RNLI, from my lovely wife and from you who sponsored me. Thank you.
My Story
I will be running in the Virgin London Marathon and raising money for the Lifeboats. It's a great charity that is mostly manned by volunteers. They provide a permanent lifesaving service around the coast and offshore with no government funding. My passion for offshore sailing and my work teaching potential Yachtmasters gives me a connection to the work of the RNLI and I have been a member for over 20 years. Please help me help them and give what you can.
