Story
About 30 years ago I swore I would never run again as my friends and I were dropped 10 miles from school in a minibus and told to run back. (Which we did, via the pub etc etc). I hated running, but it was unsupervised, so that was enough for me.
Last year for some unknown reason I took it up again and have loved every minute (except the first few hundred) and I am going to run a half marathon.
So little by little I have got my fitness to a point where I can run the distance (and hope my legs can too) so this is where you come in if you are still reading.
I thought it would be a good incentive for me to run for a charity and Macmillan Cancer Support is one of those charities none of us can ever say we won't need them, because every year there are about 360,000 new cases (about 1000 a day).
Any donation will be greatly appreciated and help my aching legs on their way, thank you!
Charlie
