Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

When your friend texts you to say "I've got something to run by you. I want to run the London to Brighton (63mile/100km) ultramarathon for charity because last year I lost people. Would you fancy joining me?"

I would love to say I thought really hard about it and considered how stupid it is.....but no, it only took me about 20mins to say f*** it, I'm supporting a friend and supporting all those who are currently suffering or have suffered because of Alzheimer's, whether it's themselves or their family around them. Let's support this.

My grandfather passed away in 2015 and was a victim of Alzheimer's. I would love for any donations to help the society in all that they do. It's devastating to watch a loved one not recognise you or forget all the good times you spent with them. If this money could help find a cure or make a sufferers or their carer's life easier, then that's a little more motivation for me!

The challenge is 63 miles (100km) which we hope to do in under 24 hours. Just think of my poor feet!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
