Helloooo :)
As everyone knows (because I talk about it constantly) I was diagnosed with pulmonary embolisms in September 2017 after being taken to hospital in an ambulance (scary af). My PE experience was an absolutely terrifying and sudden moment in my life that made me realise how fragile life can be. I’m so grateful to the people who have supported me through this so far, and still support me through the constant fear of another one happening. I feel so lucky to have physically recovered (after spending ages not being able to breathe/getting out of breath from talking and eating) and escaped lightly with only having to inject myself on flights for the rest of my life.
Now I want to do something to help this incredible charity who are close to my heart and have been kind enough to share my story on their website:

I am lucky enough to be climbing Mount Snowdon with school in July 2019 and thought it was a brilliant excuse to raise awareness of Thrombosis UK.
Thrombosis affects more people than I ever realised and definitely doesn’t get recognition it deserves. I am so excited for this as I’ve never climbed anything higher than the stairs in Covent Garden Tube station.
Any donations are extremely appreciated. Thank you so much.
Charlotte :)
