Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Alzheimer’s is a catastrophic brain disorder that causes a progressive loss of brain function. There are currently 850,000 Alzheimer’s sufferers in the UK and this is projected to rise to 1.6 million by 2040. In June 2021 I will be participating in the Race to the Castle event to raise money for Alzheimer’s research. This is a non stop 100km ultra marathon. As many of you know I am a keen runner but I have never before attempted anything like this! Any donations will be greatly appreciated, thank you.
