In 2008, I suffered a massive brain haemorrhage with an AVM and an Aneurysm. I was on holiday on the Isle of Wight at the time, I was airlifted by coastguards helicopter and was taken to Southampton. I had to be operated on immediately. In all, I have had 5 brain operations. 4 of them were in Southampton. I was 11 years old when I had my brain injury. At the time I was the only child in the whole of Europe to have had the brain injury I had. I was a unique case!

Doing this abseil is my way of raising money for PICU. I am so grateful to PICU for saving my life.
