I am taking part in a Blind Drive for Guide Dogs, and need your sponsors!!

I am registered blind, however I do not let this hold me back in any way!!

Although one aspect of my lifestyle that is effected by my sight is my mobility, as I am unable to drive. It has been hard for me to come to terms with this, as I am so desperate to learn.

However Guide Dogs are giving me the opportunity to drive a car!! Something I would not have got the chance to do any other way.

Along with other blind, and partially sighted people, I will be driving with a trained instructor round the Nissan Test Track on Sunday the 23rd of June!! I am so excited, however I have to raise a minimum of £50 in sponsors.

Although if I raise £150 I get the chacne to be a passenger in a race car, and go round the track!

I have been volunteering for Guide Dogs for over a year now, and absolutely love it!! The support and opportunities they give blind and partially sighted people are amazing!! I have heard several stories from individuals who claim Guide Dogs have 'given them their life back'.

Guide Dogs recieve no funding from the government at all, so your sponsors are very important.
