My friends and I (Frank, Robin, Garret and Al), are embarking on a cycling trip across Northern Ireland to raise vital funds for SADS UK. We have chosen this charity in memory of my awesome father, Nicky Graham, who suddenly and unexpectedly passed away in February 2020 because of a cardiac arrest. 

To begin our challenge, we travel from Chester to Liverpool, where we board the boat to Belfast on Thursday 22nd July. After arriving in Belfast at 6:30am on Friday 23rd July, we will begin the first part of our journey by cycling to Cookstown (my dad’s home town). The following day (Saturday 24th July), we will then travel from Cookstown to Londonderry/Derry, where our journey will conclude. 

The trip will take us from the east coast of Northern Ireland to the very west of the country (border to border). We will undoubtedly encounter many challenges along the way, including a nice ascent over the Sperrin Mountains on the second day! Over the two days, we will be cycling roughly one hundred miles in total.
