Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page, in which case you may already know why St Kentigern Hospice holds a special place in my heart but for those of you that don't...

This year will mark 10 years since our family lost someone extremely special (Kev) to Leukaemia, a shock terminal diagnosis for someone who played a massive part in my life.

St Kentigern Hospice provided special end of life care for Kev, ensuring he was as comfortable as possible by managing pain and other distressing symptoms. Not only that, they provided emotional support to the family as we tried to process what was happening.

The hospice replies heavily on fundraising activities from the public which have been severely hampered by the impact of lockdowns and social distancing restrictions caused by the pandemic. Now restrictions have been removed, I will be running the Chester Half Marathon on Sunday 15th May in Kev's memory, with the hope of raising some funds for the Hospice, so if you are able to support me through the miles with a small donation, I would be incredibly grateful.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure and once you donate, they'll send your money directly to St Kentigern Hospice.

Thank you for your support!
