Alongside the effort I’m putting into Run 4 Hope, I am also running the Manchester Marathon to raise funds for the amazing work The Christie does.

I have close friends who have been affected by cancer over the years. The Christie's work in Manchester is particularly close to home as I've seen how important it is to have a leading centre for international cancer research in the city.

I'm planning on doing two additional half-marathons in October besides this one - the training has been hard work!
