We are aiming to set up a Child Sponsorship Room as part of our office in Bishoftu, Ethiopia. The room will be accessible to all children supported by Link Ethiopia, and it will provide a much-needed space for children to hang out, read, use the computer, take part in art activities, join clubs, and make friends. We feel that there is a lack of such space in our town, and therefore we are keen to get the ball rolling on this project right away! We have already raised half the funds needed, and we just need a mere £150 to buy things such as paint for the room, wood for building shelves, mice for the computers, etc. We have a large supply of both fiction and non-fiction books which will be available for reading and borrowing in the room, as well as art supplies which children will be free to come and use. If you are able to donate any amount, we here at Link will be massively grateful, as I'm sure the children you're helping will be!
