Event: Sheffield Half Marathon 2022, on 27 March 2022
Research at the University of Sheffield will change the lives of families who are desperately seeking a treatment for their loved-one. By fundraising you will give hope to families living with the ongoing challenges of a genetic disease.

Story

I will be taking on the Sheffield Half Marathon on Sunday 27th March in support of Genetic Disease Research at the University of Sheffield. Any donations are appreciated to help reach my fundraising goal!

In the UK alone, 1 in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder. Sheffield's research will change the lives of families who are desperately seeking a treatment for their loved-one. By making a donation today you will give hope to families living with the ongoing challenges of a genetic disease.

This is also a huge personal challenge (I'm absolutely not a runner) so raising as much money as I can for this great cause will be a massive boost to get me over that finish line!  I am also committing to donating my blood and plasma as often as I can this year to help those in need.
