In September i am doing a 40 mile Hospice to Hospice bike ride to raising money for Shooting Star CHASE Children's Hospice; A charity who look after children and teenagers not expected to reach their nineteenth birthday, due to terminal medical conditions. They now look after over 600 families between just 2 hospices.

This bike ride was set up to raise £36,000 to employ a paediatric nurse who can work within the Shooting Star community visiting homes, meaning a terminally ill child's stress levels can be reduced as they can be seen in their own home and surroundings. I hope by doing this bike ride i will enable Shooting Star to get closer to employing that vital paediatric nurse that they need.
