People who know me know that I dabble in running but am by no means a runner. My biggest problem is that I get bored, bored of training, bored at the race, even a half to me feels like an age to me! 

Running a marathon will be the hardest thing I've done to date, give me a 5 or 10k any day but a marathon is another story altogether. I will need to train not only my body but in mind to discipline myself for this massive effort. 

The hardest thing for me will be to get to the start line and I will really appreciate all the support not only on race day but for the whole journey from now.   

As many of you know, I lost my Mother to Cancer and I'm determined to live my life to the full in her memory. I want to give something back to help to this amazing charity and maybe prevent another son losing their mother too soon!
