Enjoy some late Summer miles in Pilgrims Hospices brand-new virtual cycling event; Tour de Castles. The challenge... to ride 120 or 330 miles between historic English castles and reach the Tower of London before the end of September!

Story

I'm attempting to ride 330 miles before the end of September! Starting from Arundel, I'll visit 25 castles along my virtual route before finally reaching the finish line at the Tower of London. You can follow my progress via this interactive map here: https://www.pilgrimshospices.org/event/tourdecastles/While for many of us doing our part during the current health crisis means social distancing, Pilgrims Hospices nurses and support staff are Still Here; Still Caring and are continuing to provide skilled and compassionate end-of-life care for people living with life-limiting illness across east Kent.By sponsoring my challenge, you'll truly be making a difference to the lives of people living with a life-limiting illness and their families.

I am a Member of the Rotary Club of Canterbury Sunrise and we were due to support Pilgrims this spring by arranging a charity golf day which I would have supported. Unfortunately it had to be cancelled, a victim of Covid  so this is an opportunity to show support for the Hospice.

Bob Potts in whose memory I am riding, was a keen cyclist and we rode in a number of Hospice cycle challenges together with othe cycling friends.

Thank you.
