Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page, in aid of Mind, the mental health charity.

Between June 3rd and June 5th, we will be competing in the Monte Carlo or Bust Banger Driving Race, from Namur in Belgium, to Monte Carlo, in a car costing £300 or less! The car is decorated in tribute to two legends of music who sadly passed away this year, David Bowie and Lemmy! Almost 1000 miles across Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Italy, Switzerland and France.

We have chose Mind as our charity of choice as myself (Chris Edwards) has a background in mental health and learning support for adults with Autism and Downs Syndrome. I was a support worker for 4 years, and have had my own battles with mental health over time so understand the strain it can put on individuals and families all over the UK. Having lost friends because of mental health issues, we feel it is still seen as a taboo subject in many ways, and not talked about, especially by men of a certain age bracket because of the stigma of being diagnosed with a mental health issue. Mind do a fantastic job all over the UK highlighting these issues, and supporting  people who need help.

Please support us on our journey, and give whatever you can to help Mind assist others across the country who have to deal with mental illnesses of all forms on a daily basis.
